To the Springer family: Words cannot express how sad we are about your loss. We've known Melanie and Jeff for our entire 16 years with the church. Your family is so warm and loving and we cherish our friendship with you. Please know you are in our prayers- for strength, for God's comfort, and for inner acceptance and peace. Our prayers go out to Mrs. Springer for courage and strength through this difficult time.

Carl and I began our employment with Mitchell at the same time in 1975. We car pooled together while the Mitchell offices were downtown. Carl always liked to drive his "old purple/maroon mercedes" which he loved. Even if I offered to drive Carl perferred to do the driving unless of course his mercedes was down for repairs. We had some great interaction on those computes and I'll always think of Carl as one of my mentors. Finally, I always loved to listen to Carl's jokes and watch him laugh at them even before anyone else did. I'll miss Carl.

It has been such a special experience to work with Carl and Judy the past 20+ years! Carl had a positive outlook on life, and had the ability to share his enthusiasm and good humor with everyone. He had a wonderful combination of sincerity, humility, and fun! We will sure miss him! I'm sure that those already in heaven are delighted that he has joined them.

To the family,
Carl was great witness to God's love to me. I was new to the church and Carl would come and set with me on Sunday. With Judy siging in the choral and Paula playing the organ, he and I would worships together alot of Sunday mornings. He always made me fell welcome. When I would ask him to help in Sunday School He never turn me down. I think that a lot of people own Carl a big hug when they see him in heaven because with out his service to he's God, they may not have made it.
Carl was a Great man in my books.

I have been sharing with people how we felt about Carl -- I do believe he was one of the most honest
men I have ever known. Don't need to tell you, the Family, about how hard working he was, how disciplined and
how much time he gave to our church, nor how much fun he could be..........
Bud and I loved him; and Bud treasures his teaching Sunday School to the 4 year olds with
Carl, who asked Bud to join him in this endeavor.
We were all blessed to have had Carl in our lives.

Judy, my love and prayers are with you and your family. Carl was a very special person, even to those like me who didn't know him as well as others did. You and your family are a reflection of his wit and spirit. May our God grant you peace beyond understanding, and comfort beyond explaination. In Christ, Delma.

Dear Judy and family - as you well know I wouldn't be able to enter this tribute had it not been for Carl. He, literally spoon-fed me on my way into the world of computers. Although I drove him nuts over my own adopted computer lingo, he never failed to help when called. But there's so much more than that. We shared common interests in family and church family, and life in general. He was the most affable, generous and gentle Christian man I've ever known. And I mustn't overlook his quirky humor -- he was an absolute delight, and I give God thanks for him and for you, Judy, his dear wife and companion. Blessings! Jan
