Dearest David, Mark, Mike, James, & Family,

We are very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was an exceptional man. My mom, Ernestine Myers, and your Mom and Dad knew each other for many, many years, and through my Mom, I got to know them some. Your Dad was considered a friend and very well thought of by my family. I remember him as always smiling & cheerful when you saw him. David, Mark, & Mike, of course

I met Burr last year when he briefly had meals-on-wheels. My first encounter set the stage for a bond that will be forever cherished. I continued to visit him weekly on my delivery days until his very final day. He showed me his lovely home, his cherished collections and told me about his life. He was the most upbeat person under the most trying of circumstances. He made me smile. He touched my life and gave me memories I will take with me forever. I feel blessed to have seen him right before he went to heaven, and I thank God I was lucky enough to have known him.

I,m thankful for the opportunity to get to know Burr and his whole family. He was a spirited man and someone who took an interest in the other person . Burr always treated me like family and I was always happy to hear his stories
about the family. My mother died in July and I'll never forget the day he called me to comfort me. He said she was with Jesus talking to Martha. Burr and Martha are now
together in heaven at peace , talking and enjoying a life with no suffering. Their spirits will live on in each person they ever met.

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He sounded like a great man who accomplished a lot in his life, and had a very loving family. My father passed away, too, in December 2003, and I miss hear dearly. God Bless You during these times.
