I am so sorry for your lost. You and your husband were such beautiful examples of solid Christians for me growing up. I will always remember his kindness and loving spirit. You and your family are in my prayers. May God rest his loving arms around you through this difficult time.

Dear Judy, Donnie and Mark
I'am so sorry for your loss. Don was a great inspiration to many people. He was devoted to his family and as i remember a true christian and i know that because i saw some duck hooks go out of bounds and dont't remember one cuss word ever come out of his mouth. Those were the best of times all the golf and traveling around together. my prayers go out to your family during this tough time in your lives. god bless you and miss ya'll bracy wilson

Dear Judy,

I am truly saddened by your loss of Don. I have always had such respect for the two of you and your testimonies.
I know Don was a positive influence on so many people during his life, and I know you must have so many wonderful memories of your life adventures together.

You have also been a witness to me. I don't remember if it was your parent or Don's parent, but I do remember seeing you faithfully waiting at the hospital while they were having dialysis. For you to be so helpful with a cheerful spirit was an inspiration to me. I have missed seeing you!

Please know that I have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this time. God Bless You.

I first met don and judy along with mark when they first moved to harlingen tx.Back in the early 80's.although,i did not spend alot of time with him and the family,as i would have liked.I still have great memories of don and his stories what a kind compassionate and loving man he was.Although,it has been many years since i've talked or seen him due to my travels.I have always thought about our time we all had.I never had the pleasure of playing a round of golf with him.I bet we would have had an interesting time on the coures.BUT,then again he would sometime look at my golf swing and just tremble with pure disbelief.DON,my swing has changed somewhat over the years.
My regret is never getting a chance to play a round with you. But,i did enjoy watching you play in san antonio during your playing days.I will miss you and i thank you for having the time we had together.I guess the good lord needed you up in the stars with him. What the world needs is more don massengale to continue to spread the gospel.

Donnie, I am deeply saddened to hear of your dad's passing. He was such a nice man and I know he was a wonderful father. I remember fondly the golf that you, me and him played in Waco and at Harlingen in the early 80's. Man, he had some putting stroke.

Please tell you mom and brothers that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I feel extremely blessed to have known Don Massengale. Never have I known a more gentle man. I shall always cherish the fond memories of our friendship. Many hours I have spent on the golf course with he and his boys and I still chuckle to myself of the good times we had with his family. I shall miss him tremendously but I know that this day my friend walks on streets that are pure as gold. I love you Don Massengale and thanks for being by friend.

Mr. Don Massnegale was a distinguished man of Texas, who I will always have great respect and admiration for. I had the honor and pleasure of working with him. I really enjoyed being on the radio with him. We had some funny times. He brought a great talent to the PGA tour.

I will miss a long time friend.

My prayers go out to Mrs. Massengale, Donnie and Mark.

Years ago, Don gave me the opportunity to work for him at
River Plantation with his wonderful staff, family, and club members. I was happily immersed in golf, but it was his Christian walk, integrity and family focus that led me to "search" and find Christ. He was my personal evangelist. I'll never forget how God put him in my life.
