I still have the Jane's Fighting Ships book that I gave to Scott for Christmas, and that you sent me later. I took it down off the bookshelf tonight to remember Scott, and thought of you. I decided to search to see if there was a memorial online for Scott. I was sorry to find that Mr. Bladel has passed. Scott looked just like him, as you know. I didn't know John. But he must have been a Man among Men to raise (with your guidance) the best Sailor that ever sailed under the Flag. With Love, and may God Bless You, John and Scott, and ALL of the Bladel Family- Jim Rider
