Tributes Add Your Tribute
By: Georgia Anne Feb 19, 2007
Although it's been many, many years since we've been in touch, I have such fond & fun memories of visiting at Aunt Velma's and Uncle Joe's. Too many to recount here, but they are some of the best childhood memories that I have. Debbie, I am so sorry for the losses that you and your family have gone through and in such a short time.

With much love and prayers,
Georgia Anne

Didn't get to make it to her funeral but will always remember the times I spent with her. I could always call her Boo and she would look at me and I would know that she knew who I was. She was a very sweet lady and I really enjoyed the times that I got to spend with her. I will always cherish the many memories that I have of our talks and visits. I know it was hard to let her go, but I know that she is happy now with Mr. Goodlett and with Gary. I will always think about her when I am chosing flowers for my beds at home. She really knew her flowers. I guess its like they say, when God needs another good Angel, he will take one home. Love you guys and thanks for sharing her with me. Brenda

Mrs. Goodlet in my mind was the perfect mother and wife -- loving, kind, patient, caring, very genteel -- as was the virtuous woman. "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." Proverbs 31:10 She was a role model for many.

Please accept my condolence in your loss.
I have very happy memories of both Joe and Velma. I loved to listen to her talk and watch her bright eyes. She was so very proud of all of you. We always enjoyed the "family letters". It helped all of us to stay acquainted with you.
I am sorry that we will not be there to share your pain, but all of us will be thinking of you.
Please keep in touch. I do not write but am really bad with emailing.
Take care of each other now and we love all of you.
Dana Ann
