Al- Here on Earth you had so many titles: Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Father-in-Law, Grandfather, and Friend. Now in Heaven you have one “Our Angel”. When Jo passed away Kayla shared something with me that I never got to shared with you. Kayla pointed to the rays of the sun shinning down at us and said "Look it is Grandma looking down on us." It is so amazing what children see. Now you have joined her and every time we see that sun shinning through we will think of you too. When someone hears the name Jo and Al Trout, they will remember the couple who truly knew the meaning of being a Christian. You both lived for The Lord and served him in so many wonderful ways, this was an inspiration to many and will always be remembered.
My heart and prayers go to Amanda, Chris, Marc and Penny. You have the most amazing Dad. Al was living life to the fullest and enjoying every minute of it. Always remember that a piece of Al is living within his children and grandchildren. It has been a true honor to have had Jo and Al a part of my life in the past 10 years. Kayla will always know how special her Grandparents are.
There is a new song by Beverly Mitchell named “Angel” it fits the both of them so much. Let’s remember the smiles and all the wonderful memories and let Our Angels fly over us from the Heaven’s above.

God Bless

Jo was my best friend. Her loss was great. To add to that now the loss of her best friend, and Amanda's past and present, is overwhelming. Al was a wonderful husband, father and friend, a dedicated Christian.

Amanda, mine and Abi's prayers are with you and your extended family. I am so happy you had your parents' influence for even this short while; for your future, remember their legacy. We love you. Beth and Abigail

Al I just to thank you for being the great person you have always been, as I look back my friend I remember your smile and your kind advice. Today like many other family and friends I don't look at this a losing you as my friend but as new life that awaits you in the Kingdom of God were vision see you with family and friends whom have pass before you, I vision you riding your bike and honoring those who serve before, and after you and I..Today we send to the heavens another Guard who shall stand at the ready to serve God and Country, your mission is done here on earth, your new life awaits you, may God bless you and your family, and may God Bless America.

Unfortunately, I only met Al this past year. In the short time I did know him I realized what a kind and compassionate man he was. My husband, Kendall, and I got him involved in the Race for the Cure this year and I think it helped channel some of his grief of losing Jo. I only talked to him through email for the longest time, getting him and Amanda signed up to walk in Jo's honor. When I did finally meet him I will never forget the smile on his face when he told me how much money he had already raised in pledges in just 2 short weeks. It was a smile I will never forget. We had planned to form a team next year and walk once again in memory of Jo. I'm so sorry we won't be able to do this with him but Kendall and I will always walk in the memory and honor of both of them.

Trout Family, We consider it a honor to have known Al. We were able to be a part of Al and Jo's wedding (Pat performed the ceremony). What a great guy. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless. With Deepest Sympathy, Pat and Vicki Sampson DeKalb, MO

You were a darn good man, Allen, and you will be sorely missed. I'll think of you and your family often as we continue to honor our soldiers and their families. Rest peacefully my brother and thank you. Mike Crowley, Sugar Land
