Janet was a little younger than I, and we all attended New Paris together. George was in my class. I remember Janet as always having a smile on her face. She was a joy to be around. My heart goes out to you at this time and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Psalm 116:15

I met Janet only a few months ago, when school started last August. I was the new music teacher for Anderson Elementary, consequently I served with Janet's "Specials" team. She was a great encouragement to me. I shall never forget her great strength yet gentle spirit. She became a very good and trusted friend. I always enjoyed our "lunches" together. She was always giving me good advice and direction as a new Anderson teacher. Janet loved music. We talked on several occasions about the music opportunity God has given His children when they enter His heaven. Today, Janet is enjoying her dream of singing in heaven's choir! Her music may not be heard here on earth anymore, but it will be heard in the heavens forever and ever! We will miss you Janet until we join you in that heavenly choir! To her family, thank you for sharing your wife and mother with others like me. It was my good fortune to have known her. May the God of all comfort give you peace and comfort today and in the days to come.

Janet's legacy will be the lives she touched as a mother, a teacher, and a friend.
She was an example of living for and serving others and we are all blessed for having crossed paths with her.

I've search for the right words but they stay hidden from me so I'll borrow some lines from my friend Mickey Newbury to express how I feel after just returning from the visitation tonight.

Love you, Larry

Once again I close my eyes and fall into my dreams.
For in the light of day this life is never what it seems.
I find I need a place tonight to run away and hide.
From the sadness and the madness in the world outside.

Jennifer, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was such a wonderful person. I was thinking of the two of you the otherday when I ran across a picture of y'all at the party we had at Grandma Hays' house. I think we were in Junior High at the time. Your mom with be deeply missed. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your family.
