I admired Dr. Watson tremendously. I worked with him for a few years and was also a patient of his for a while. He was a quiet matter of fact person yet very stern and caring at the same time. He was one person that I am very honored to have known. My heart goes out to his family. He will be greatly missed. May God Bless and Keep You All.

To all the Watsons Bubba and I just now heard about Dr. Watson. We are so sorry and know he will be greatly missed. I always appreciated knowing that Dr. Watson delivered Bill and he was one of the first to go to Mom and Dad to help any way he could. I especially loved getting to know Dr. Watson better on ski trips with Conroe Bible Church. I didn't know he could be so much fun and there were several of us younger ones that skied some really fun trails and Dr. Watson kept up with us completely He probably was watching out for us! He was a godly man and he was loved by many.

Dr. Watson was an important special person in my life for so many years. He brought me into this world in 1958, helped me with fever induced seizures when I was a very young child. Even several years later he remembered me, remembered being my doctor. He had a heart that was bigger than life and enjoyed helping others. May God bless your family and know that in the eyes of many you are truly blessed!!!

Bettye and Family.........I was saddened to hear of Dr. Watson's passing.....I have been meaning to write and tell him of an old classmate of his who I go to church with in Carthage......He knew both Dr. Watson and his brother....I am sorry I never got to do that.......The man's name is Howard Del Moore and he went to school with them in either Naples or Linden ( I can't remember where he said they went to school)......Matter of fact Del is the one who told me Dr. Watson was a pilot in the war...I had forgotten about that.......My youngest son was in the Navy and worked on the F-14 jet fighters for the Navy.....He has some neat pictures from their last mission to Iraq and the Persian Gulf........Well I just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and your family and that I always admired your husband, he was a great doctor and good friend who taught me a lot about life and being competent in your work in my younger days at the old Sadler Clinic on Ave G....He, Dr Sadler and Dr. Wally were three of greatest men I could ever have for bosses and I was fortunate to be a part of the old Sadler Clinic Family........He will be missed.....Love, Patty (Ray) Dawson

The UTMB Regional Maternal and Child Health Program, the Conroe clinic, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology remember Dr. Watson fondly and with gratitude. As our health authority in Montgomery County, Dr. Watson was ever vigilant and helpful in sometimes hectic circumstances. His concern for the health and well being for the citizens of Montgomery County was demonstrated by his presence during the meningitis outbreak and the related immunization clinics. During this time, Dr. Watson attended every immunization clinic, personally intervening when needed to make sure as many people as possible were inoculated against this terrible disease. We remember him as a kind, calm, and gentle physician who could always be relied upon. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
