By: Rebecca Osborn Oct 24, 2002
I just want to thank all of you who have been so wonderful to my family the last year and especially the last few months. We miss Daddy so much and it is so comforting to have such a wonderful support system to help us when we are down. I can't tell you how much that means to me. Not a day goes by when I don't long to hear Daddy's voice or see him and give him a hug, but I know that he is in heaven watching out for our family. Thank you all for everything. Daddy - I love you. I miss you tons and can't wait to see you again.

We will always remember Mike from the beginning of his being in our family because he was so good to our two

older sons who were 7 and 5 when Mike and Patricia got married. He played with them and made them feel very

special. Then, when Rebecca was born, we were amazed at his patience when Rebecca had colic so bad. He would

stand and hold her and rock her for what seemed like hours. Then, when he started sending us his bulletin articles--that's when we felt like we really knew him. He shared a part of him that we had really never seen, and all of us really enjoyed getting to know him in that way. I know he was a good dad and husband, and his

family will miss him greatly--we will too.
