Though it has been many years since I've seen Ray and his family whenever their name is mentioned I'm filled with happy memories. My most vivid memory is of Ray chewing tobacco, for which my dad tells me he never spit the juice out (or if he did, he did it very discreetly). I also always admired how physically fit Ray was, long before it was the "in thing" to do. He will surely be missed by many. My deepest sympathy goes out to Carrie, Becky and Cheryl. Grief is only for a short time but memories are forever. God Bless you all.

Ray was a very good friend to my father, and also to my entire family. We will all miss him and we will remember the times we enjoyed together. My best to all those who knew him and enjoyed his company.

Ray was the BEST Father-in-Law any one could have. I learned alot from him. We always seemed to be building some project or another. He always had some sort or joke or saying which would make you laugh ,that alone was worth alot to me.There are many other good memories of Ray which I will always treasure.I was very fortunate to have been a part of his loving family. Now he can play until his hearts content with Chet and the other great guitar players.(May he rest in peace)

Sunshine fades and Shadows fall,But sweet rememberance outlasts all.

Ray was such a good friend to my father. We had many happy times together. He always had something to say about everything. He made us all laugh and be full of joy. He was thoughtful and caring. My brothers and I always loved to see him come over with his guitar - we knew we were in for a fun evening. I know we will always smile whenever we think of Ray.

Ray was more than a friend to all of our family. We admired and loved him. His presence was always a great joy for us. He blessed us with his warmth, music, jokes and hospitality. Personally, Ray had a life-changing effect on me. Ray was instrumental in changing my attitude about life, myself, my family and my work. His positive encouragement and help will never be forgotten. I doubt that he had any idea how special he was to me, nor how many times I regularly quote some of the things he said to me, even after all these years. To all of Ray's family, we send our love and prayers.

Childhood memories of picnics, celebrations and visiting the Rollers on vacations will always hold a special place in my heart. Although my husband Lucky only met Ray once, he admired the wonderful person he was. We send our deepest sympathy to Carrie, Becky & Cheryl. You will always be in our hearts and prayers.
