Dear Sherri - My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve over the loss of your mother. Though, I did not know her, I know how hard it is to lose a parent. May you find peace, comfort and strength in the Lord Jesus Christ who brings comfort to all who are hurting.

In Christ's Love,

I owe a great deal to my Aunt Florence, perhaps even my persistent existence on this earth. Not only a big sister, she was a “rock” to my mother and was able to reach her in within the depths of her illness when no one else could. She was an active provider of love and support to the “Bonner Bunch”, for which words cannot express and I will be eternally grateful. I remember the tapes she and my Mom made of the folk songs they used to sing as a duet on a “soap box” while still so very young. I remember her infectious giggle and laugh, which she lavished on those she knew. I remember her strength when standing up for loved ones and for the principles she believed in. I remember her for continually to help my family, even beyond what might have been considered reasonable. I remember her as a role model for young women pursuing careers outside the home. She “raised the bar” for what it means to be a sister, one that I can only hope to achieve. Aunt Florence was bright, vivacious, loving, and inspiring throughout her entire life – and I will miss her sorely.

Good-bye to a favorite Aunt --- I love you,

Gina
