I just wanted to let the family know that I only got word of Russell death yesterday and let them know my heart is with you . Even tho I live out of state, I still think of you often and love you all.

My dad was a man with great dignity and honor. Dad had many friends who loved and cared for him dearly. Russell retired from the Lufkin Conroe Telephone Company after 20 years of service. It seemed like every where dad went, he knew someone; for dad knew no strangers. Russell enjoyed spending time in Grimes County ranching and farming the Navasota river bottom. Though dad is gone, he will always be in my heart and also greatly missed. For everyone who showed their respects and condolences, you were the Defoor families light during our time of grieving. Thank you for your support, and may god bless!!
