Tribute to Gerald "Jerry" Eaton

A Poem from Author Unknown

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there

I do not sleep

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glints on snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle Autumn rain

When you awaken in the morning's hush

I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds

In circled flight

I am the soft stars that shine at night

Do not stand at my grave and cry

I am not there

I did not die

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Jerry lives in the hearts and souls of those who loved him.

May God bless him and grant the everlasting life he deserved.

I worked with Jerry at Jiffy Lube for over five years. His office was next to mine and whenever I needed construction advice, I would turn to Jerry. He always had time for me and he always had the answers I needed. Jerry enjoyed sail boats and whenever he found a particulary interesting picture of the water or a boat, he would share it with me. So many things made Jerry a special person and I'm really going to miss him.

I work in the Florida Jiffy Lube office. I met Jerry a couple of years ago and found him to be a very nice man. We will miss him and pray that The Peace of God surrounds him and his family forever.
