Mrs. Carol was my children's piano teacher for 14 years. She taught them so much about music, but so much more about the Lord, and about friendship. She is a dear and caring friend, and I will miss her so much. She is singing and playing music now with the best--with Jesus and the angels! Bubba, Nicole, and Stacia, may God wrap His comforting arms around you now.

Miss Carol will be especially greatly missed by the children whose lives she has touched. I broke the news to Jessica last night that Miss Carol had passed away, but I quickly told her that I knew she is in Heaven now, singing or playing her keyboard like she did at "opening" for the kids every morning. Jessica said, "Yeah, I can see her in my mind doing that.....and I can hear her singing, too."

My family and I have known Ms. Carol for 17 years. Not only did she take care of my children when they went to Mims, she also taught them the love of music. She will be forever in our hearts.

Ms. Carol was one of the sweetest, carrying, loving persons i have ever met in my life.

She made every day that i was around her a joy. She made me feel special because she loved me.

But then Ms. Carol loved everyone. I must say this was a great shock, I felt like i had lost

a part of my family, but then again i did, a part of the family of God. Ms. Carol will certainly

be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Ms. Carol was the best boss you could have ever worked

Thankyou Ms. Carol for just being you. Love, Cindy

I worked with "Miss" Carol Dyess for about 6 years at Mims. She was much more than my boss, she was a close personal friend, someone who I felt was family in my heart. She taught me so many things about myself and about what the Lord wanted for me in life. I am so thankful that God led me to Mims where I would meet Miss Carol. I could never give my testimony about coming to Jesus without mentioning her name! She was definitely one of the most influential people in my life! She had so much love and compassion for so many people, she allowed God to use her in so many ways and I know she is being rewarded for that at this very moment. She will be greatly missed. Bubba and Stacia, I know how much your mother loved you and how very proud she was of you both because she talked about you tremendously. Thank you for sharing your mother with all of us!

Love Linda Plaster Roach
