Gwen,

We are sorry for the loss of Gene. You were both so caring during our difficult times even though you were dealing with your own. God Bless.

We are so sorry that we can only be there in thought and prayer. It would be so nice to give y'all such a big hug! We pray that all of the happy memories that we have will also sustain you during this difficult time. Please know that we miss you, we love you and we hold you so near in our thoughts.

I have known Gene for more than 40 years, He was not only my Cousin by marrage but my Best Friend as well, over the years we have done many things togther, we enjoyed owning, and working on cars , motorcycles and boats and taken numerious vacations together. When ever anyone needed help on anything and Gene would find out he would be there, Gene was a master and a jack of all trades, carpentry, electrical, plumbing anything mechanical.

I will miss him terriably, but the memories of all of the good times we had will be with me forever.

Gwen --

My heart goes out to you!! Thinking of you and praying for you and your family!

I regret that due to illness, I will not be able to attend the visitation tonight nor the funeral tomorrow, but you can be assured that my thoughts and prayers are with you! God be with you, bless and comfort you! Praise to the Lord that Gene is now in his heavenly home -- I am so thankful that in the last few years I have come to know you both better and consider you dear friends. I will be in touch. With love, Katherine

I met Gene during the late seventies while working at ITT Snyder, along with Gwen. Our initial interaction was limited to his visits to the office, and during company related functions. It was this exposure to him that made me realize that he was a great person, and that I wanted to get to know him better. He was extremely courteous, patient, and polite when interacting with others, including strangers. His generosity was immeasurable, and he worked diligently to achieve his best with every task. While accomplishing these things, he never complained. Our interaction increased significantly over the years, and he became one of my best friends. I soon realized that Gene was a skilled craftsman, and that he possessed a wealth of knowledge. Working with him was a pleasure, and we accomplished many things together over the years. He was extremely kind to my family and our friends, and we were always welcome at his home. He was like a brother to me, and I am very proud to have known him. He will always live in my heart and my memories.
