Lila lives on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

To have known my grandmother as a person was an honor. To have had her as my grandmother was a gift. My husband and myself along with our oldest son Kaelin(7 ) were fortunate enough to have spent 2 years in Conroe with my grandmother. In that time we grew quite close. It was wonderful to listen to her stories of the "old days" and her no nonsense, always optimistic views on life. She was always grateful for her life and the friends and family she shared it with. She is and always will be a cherished part of our life.

My father, Max Kruemcke, worked for your father at Anderson and Clayton for many years. He helped build facilities for the company in Mexico and all over the United States. Your parents were well thought of in our home and we are left with many wonderful memories of them.

At this difficult time it is wonderful to remember the wonderful legacy of their lives. God bless you.

My grandmother was more than just a relative but a good friend to me. She taught me to have a positive outlook on life and other people. I was glad to visit her during the last few days before she died. Even then, her outlook was positive and she felt fortunate to have lived the life she did.
