Tributes Add Your Tribute

Our condolences to you all. We only just found out about Sharon's death and are deeply saddened because we loved her, too. We will miss her.

She had a kind heart, a wonderful sense of humor and a real spirit. I've never before known anyone who loved cats as much as I!

I met Sharon in 1978, when I traveled with Gary to visit his brother, Lee, in Houston. She instantly made me feel at home. During the 1979 ice storm that froze all of North Texas, Sharon, Lee, Gary and I made a harrowing 12-hour drive from Amarillo to Dallas. When we arrived, the city was blacked out, and the power stayed off for 5 days. We had the most wonderful time living off of gas heat, candles and great conversation.

We hope you find comfort in knowing that we loved her, too, and we miss her.

Y'all take care.

I had the pleasure of working with Sharon a couple of years ago. She was not only a pleasure to work with but a pleasure to be around. I extend my condelences to her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
