My sympathies to all the children of Mrs. Noe. It was a long time ago and couldn't see it then, but now realize what a great woman and mother Mrs. Noe was to her family and others. It will be hard not being able to hug her but comforting to know she has now been reunited with Mr. Noe for eternity.

I am so sorry she was a great wife mother, grandmoter, and a great lady. I have such a fond memory of her and that memory will always keep me honest. I never ever stop at a stop sign that I don't think of her and smile(Loretta can share the story) I really thought she was a fine lady and I know I am better, because I knew her. I am very sad but I know she is at peace, you are all in my thoughts and prayers

Love Yvonne

Lora and Mel shared a devotion in marriage and family that I considered pretty rare. Without character flaws of her own, Lora refused to recognize them in others. She was thus one of strong faith and trust, of optimism, and an inspiration to us all. The only time I ever remember disagreeing with her was about politics in 1964, and there was no way I could doubt her sincerety and insight. I was left with the feeling that she could see something good that I could not recognize, and I have been more introspective since then.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Noe family. Lora was a tremendous women who along with Mel has left a beautiful legacy in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. My thoughts are with all of you during this time of sadness.
