Tributes Add Your Tribute
By: Kirk Marshall Sep 1, 2004
My Dad; the bravest man I ever knew. It took me until adulthood to understand and appreciate his quiet strength. He is my hero and he knew it because I told him so several years ago. What a blessing for me to have had a man of his integrity and conviction for a father. He taught by example; by the way he lived his life. He walked the walk so well that he only needed to use words for a little emphasis from time to time. He did not tell me that actions speak louder than words so that I might hear it, he modeled it before me so that I might learn it. Thank you, dad, for your life and your love. I'm grateful that I could be there for you after a lifetime of you being there for me.

Your son,

Kirk
