Aunt Maxine, Jan, Harry, and Cheryl,

My prayers are with you through this difficult time. I pray that the Lord will wrap His arms of love around you and provide peace in the midst of the storm, as only He can.

Uncle Bud impacted many lives with his kindness and love of life. I do not believe I ever saw him that he did not have a smile on his face. The Scout Oath states: On my honor I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. I have heard it said that having "character" is doing the right thing morally even when no one is watching. I believe Uncle Bud had "character.

My life had truly been impacted by Uncle Bud, from the gift of my first Boston Terrier "Jud" till my last visit with Him on Thursday morning. I will always treasure that I had the opportuntity to spend a few more hours with Uncle Bud.

My thoughts and my prayers are with you,

Jessie Givens Jr.

Cheryl and Mrs. Trigleth

I am so sorry for your loss, even though I have seen you for years you are on my mind and in my thoughts often. Mr. Trigleth was a wonderful person and such a great example to everyone. I spent many hours at your house growing up and I would like to think I am a better person today for the inspiration he had on my life.

Again I am so sorry for your loss but I know he is in heaven rejoicing now! You are all in my prayers

Dear Maxine, Jan, Harry and Cheryl,

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will watch over each of you and will give you strength and courage in this difficult time.

I have precious memories of Bud and Cliff as they played the piano and sang until their hearts content. Cliff loved Bud like a brother and I know that they are reunited in heaven. Bud was truly a great friend to Cliff and me and I have so much love for you and your family. There will be hard times ahead but when you know that Bud is in a much better place it will lighten your load.

If you need to talk, please call me. I will be calling to check on you and your family.

With Love,

Vedia Givens
