Chip was one of the first people at Twin Shores to make us feel welcome when we moved in to the neighborhood seven years ago. He has been our friend, neighbor, and fishing 'scout' ever since. He loved the community and it simply won't be the same driving by his house without his wave and little visits. He will be dearly missed by many.

CHIP, MINNETTE AND I FEEL HONORED THAT WE MET YOU AND DEAR OLE MAGGIE ABOUT TWELVE YEARS AGO WHEN WE MOVED IN TO TWIN SHORES AND WILL DEEPLY MISS YOUR VISTS TO OUR HOUSE FOR THE BULL SESSIONS THAT WE WOULD HAVE. THE TWIN SHORES MARINA WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU THERE FISHING. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.

I feel so lucky to have been your neighbor for the last 2yrs. I will miss walking through your yard

learning about all of your plants and getting great tips for my yard.It will not be the same across

the street not seeing you walking around giving that friendly wave.

Grandad,

These past four days have been the saddest days of my life. I lost not only my grandad but a father figure and a friend as well. I feel blessed to have had grandparents like you and grandma. I remember a simpler time in life when we made mud pies in your backyard and ran around catching fire flies at night. You were the one who held my hand when I was scared on my first day of school. I'll never forget our early morning fishing trips and listening to you sing Patsy Cline. Thank you for always being there for and knowing just the right words to say. The memories we made I will always cherish and the life lessons that were taught I will pass down to my children. You took a big part of me with you Grandad and I will miss you everyday of the rest of my life. You will kiss these brown sugar spots again one day. Kiss grandma for me.

I Will Love You Always,

Elizabeth

Chip, you were a good friend to all who knew you, especially Helen and Frank. You were a good hunting and fishing buddy and I only hope there is a lake in heaven with a lot of keeper size crappie. So long old friend I will miss you.

Your Friend,

Pete

Chip was a faithful friend and a good fishing buddy. I wish I would have known the man who left the hole in my dad's heart. He will be missed as much as he was loved.
