I believe The Lord blessed my mom with several gifts that were very special. Her gift of love for everyone was so evident by her smile, her gift of compassion shown by concern for others problems, her gift of inner strenght

evident every Sunday morning as she hobbled down the aisle to her seat her pain showing clearly, her gift of joy in the Lord because she was always there ans always smiling. She loved Jesus so very much and now she is able to tell him as she looks upon his face.I miss her so much but I know she is happy and pain free. She left behind so many many friends and family who will hurt for quite a while. To you who loved her, she loved you back.Aunt Patty she loved you most of all.

Aunt Mary,

The sweetest smile,

The sweetest heart,

have gone to be with God,

so

We must wait until

He calls us too,

until once again we

can be together

with all those we love,

who have gone before.

We love all of you..

Tis is a poem that fits my Mother

God looked around His

garden and He found an empty place. He then

looked down upon earth,

and saw your tired face. He

put His arms around you and

lifted you to rest. God's

gardenmust be beautiful. He

always takes the best. He knew

that you were suffering. He knew

you were in pain. He knewq that

you would never get well on

earth again. He saw the road

was getting rough and the hills

were hard to climb. So He closed

your weary eyelids, and whispered,

"Peace be thine." It broke our

hearts to lose you but you didn't

go alone. For part of us went

with you the day God

called you home.

I have been blessed just by meeting Miss Fenner. She was always a joy to talk to at church. She always had a smile on her face. She was at church all the time....even when she was weak and didn't feel good. Things were always just "right" when I looked out into the crowd and saw Miss Fenner in her spot on the church pew. I thank the Lord for the time I was able to spend chatting with Miss Mary. I love you and will miss you. I can't wait to see you again in Glory.

Love, Jennifer

I remember with great fondness the all the times I spent with Aunt Mary. Her warm smile and invariably pleasant, serene personality will always be remembered by everyone who knew her. Those of us fortunate enough to be related to her know that this serenity came from her deep love of our Lord and Savior. Aunt Mary was one of the most devoted Christians I have ever known, and one can only imagine how thrilled and joyful she must be to see our Lord Jesus face to face. We will miss you, Aunt Mary, and will always love you.

My mother-in-law never met a stranger, every where she went she would ask that person if they had a church home;if they said yes or no she would tell them they needed to come to Mims. Mom truely loved her Church family, she loved to hear Bro. Gene preach and always wanted Kevin to sing solo; she said we had the best choir and that we did'nt need all those speical people to come and sing. You never heard her say a cross word to anyone, always I love you and that Jesus loved you also. When she was in the hospital she would always asked everyone if they know Jesus, she ask two hispanic men in the elevator if they had achurch home, they just smiled and said yes;Carolyn told her they probable didn't understand english, she "I don't know how to speak Spanish.Mom, was sunshine on a cloudy day. I loved her and will miss her, she is with Lavonne,Iva,Richard,Floyd and Martin and one day we all will be with her.

I feel so blessed to have known Miss Mary. I will miss seeing her at choir practice and all the picnics and Sunday School fellowships. She was always so sweet and serene even when she was in pain. She was a testimony to her Lord's grace during her times of feeling bad. I will so miss her saying "Hi darlin'" and "I love you" and will miss seeing her sweet face. Fellowships just won't be the same without her. I love you Carolyn and Gabe. Alice

Of course there are words in God's word, The Bible, that give FULL TRIBUTE to "Mrs Mary"...and they are:

Excerpts of Proverbs 31, Verses 20, 25, & 25 - 31...She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all". Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Carolyn & Gabe, we all experienced this many, many, many times thru Mrs Mary!!! Whether sick or feeling good, she would give all praise to her Lord Jesus! She showed us that love every time we were with her. When she was ill just 2 months ago, and just out of the hospital, she wasn't thinking of herself, but called me to wish me a happy birthday....she was never "self", but "others" at all times! There are so many lives that her life touched! I am blessed to have her as my "birthday friend", but even better than that, she will be a special love of my life forever more! Some of us laughed on Tuesday and said that Mrs Mary is up in Heaven with Lavonn filling her in on all of us down here from Mims Baptist! Our Friendships are Precious and they will never be anything less! May God bless you and know that we are here for anything you may need today or in the future. Our gift to you is to be "planted" - to make a garden to celebrate the life of your Mom everyday. It'll be near to your heart, and as our Heavenly Father sprinkles it with rain, it'll grow and bloom - just like Mrs Mary, as did her friendships with us have done.

In Christ's love, Carol

There are loved ones in our lives who bless us all with the warmth and beauty of their souls. Mary Fenner was such a person in my own life. She was never without a kind word, a bright smile and a knowing reassurance that we are all special in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. I will always remember Mary as being very special. She made it easy for us to realize that angels are still with us and it's wonderful to know the she has finally returned home. We will all miss you Aunt Mary.

Carolyn and Gabriel, Sometimes God puts into our lives a special someone who touches us in a special way. Ms. Mary has been a VERY "special someone" to us. Each time we spoke to her she took the time to tell us that she realy loved us. It never failed to lift our spirits to see her sweet smile and bask in her sweet spirit that surrounded her. We know that was a reflection of Jesus through her and we always went away blessed. She was a constant light to all that came in contact with her and she will be sorely missed. Our comfort is in knowing that she is with her Blessed Savior. We all look forward to that day that we will all be together in Heaven with our Father.
