There will never be another Howard Moore!! My late husband and I knew he and Sal when we wemt to school 1n 1955 at Sam Houston University. Howard was a lover of mankind, he loved his family above all else in this world. He loved every student he ever had. He was interested in their life till he drew his last breath.

He and Sal were loyal to their many friends, and Howard was always bringing them in unannounced to Sal, usually for a meal, He loved life, I can see and hear him laugh this very moment.

Good Bye old friend, our lives were better because of you and Sal. Rest well, and remember we love you.

I was reading the Courrier via the internet from my new home in Sweetwater. I read the notice of Mr. Moore's passing. I convey my condolences to the family, and you will be in my prayers. Mr. Moore was a joy everytime I had the pleasure to visit with him at the store. The love he had for his family was very apparent. I am very thankful for having known him, and will not forget him. May God comfort all of you in this time of sadness.
