Please know we mourn your loss. Elsie was a fine person who contributed so much to Conroe and Montgomery County. She will be missed. Love to Bill and family.

On behalf of the Kermet E. Clayton family, I would like to extend our sincere sympathy to Bill, Billy and Chuck and your families. It seems like only yesterday when we lived next door to one another. (I can almost hear Elsie playing the marimba to this day!) We are thinking of all of you. Kermet, Edith, Kermeta, Karla, and David

Elsie was the first person to ever extend me credit when I got my first horse at the age of 18. Chuck was a year or so ahead of me in school. I taught Lauren in the first grade. I always remember Elsie's big smile and red hair! I also will always look for her every time I am in El Pollino. She was one of a kind. I extend my condolences to her family.

Elsie was a one of a kind, original. She taught me in kindergarten how to share and in my adult life, she taught me about friendship. She will always have a special place in my heart.

Please accept my condolences. Mrs. Bergfield was my teacher in 1969-1970 school year. I have never forgotten her class or her personality. She was a true treasure to the community and school district.
