Dear Mrs. Roe, Helen, Gene and families, I just heard about Mr. Roe's passing. My heart aches for you all. Mr. Roe was such a fine person. For the 35 years that I have know him, I always respected him, looked up to him and admired him. (He even made contacts for me with Shell after I graduated from college and was looking for work.) Mr. Roe always had a smile and cheerful outlook, even at the hospital after his initial cancer surgery.

Although I didn't know him well, I feel a sense of loss, as will anyone who knew him. His family can be proud that he leaves a tremendous legacy. To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.

God bless you.

To The Roe Family: Although I didn't know Mr Roe personally, expereince tells me that you can tell alot about a person by the offspring they bring into the world and nurture(although I hope my parents aren't being scrutinized too much because of this walking disaster). With that in mind, knowing his special daughter Helen indicates to me that he was quite a guy and I pass along my sincere condolences and all of God's blessings to all of you.

Dear Mrs. Roe and Family,

What a dear, sweet man Mr. Roe was! We feel so blessed to have known him, his stories of old, his kind, thoughtful ways and his loving spirit. We will miss him but look forward to the day when we will catch up with him in heaven and hear all of his new adventures . Oh, the blessed hope of heaven!

May the Lord comfort you in your time of sorrow and give you a wonderful, blessed hope of your future together in eternity.
