Barbara,

It is with sadness we hear of Lloyd's passing. We remember so many good times from the football games to your wonderful parties and so many other events. I'll always remember his quick smile and his witty comments. He is and always will be a good man.

I pray is: May God bless and keep you,

May God's face shine on you.

May God be kind to you

And give you peace.

Hope to hear from you.

It is Christmas night and I am thinking of Lloyd. I remember how every year at our Christmas party Lloyd would be one of the first one's there dressed in a bright festive outfit. He really enjoyed this time of year.

I talked to Lloyd about 3 weeks ago and he told me he was going to die very soon. I was shocked, but he Said "Trey I am ready " He was at peace and I think while he was probably scared he was really ready to be with God. Lloyd never had a bad word to say about anyone. I know how much he loved his family. He was a great man and I am a better person for knowing him.

Dearest Barbara, Todd, Mark, Ryan and extended family, We sincerely wish we could be there with you, but because of Elsianne's illness, we cannot leave right now. She is a little better today after changing medications on Tuesday. She very badly wants us to come to be with you, but we just must not let her make the trip. Please know how very much we love all of you, and we are remembering Lloyd with great admiration and love, and celebrating his life and the courageous battle he fought with you by his side every step of the way, always looking to God and praising Him. What an inspiration you and Lloyd have been for us all.

Dear Barbara and family, It was not too long ago when I remember Lloyd at my brother Dougs home and he was visiting Doreen. I just remember his sweet spirit and his gentle way. Thank you Barb for being such a good friend to Doug and the boys. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your precious family and may the Lord give you peace that passes all understanding. Love Ellen

Dearest Barbara, Todd, Mark & Ryan,

It's 2:55 Friday afternoon and I just received a message from Kim Heathcote about Lloyd. I feel sooo bad that I was not there last night to hug you all. I have had you on my minds for the past couple of weeks and even told Janet Davis I was concerned about yall. I know how hard Lloyd fought this and you all were there in the fight. We are just beginning to know what you have gone through. You are all in our hearts and prayers and just know how very much you mean to us. Lloyd was always so nice to me when I was at Houser and worked with yall at ORHS. You and Lloyd have raised 3 very handsome, caring, Christian young men and I know that you will be looked after well by all three. Mel & Jake send their love and prayers and also are sick that they didn't know to be there with you all. I'll stop by soon to see you. We love yall.

Lloyd was such a very special person full of life and laughter. He fought a courageous battle and is finally resting without anymore pain. If I had to guess... I would say he is drinking a margarita with Doreen and is happy as ever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all this time!!!

Lots of Love,

Kelli Clogston
