Together We Will Be

God knew you needed reassurance, so he prepared a special place

To go be with him when saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.

Departing with his angels, he always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering, you'd never be the same.

There'd be no more hunting game or doing the things you loved

...ever again.

He saw your losing battle so he closed your beautiful blue eyes.

He whispered to you "J.D. it's time" , and gave you wings to fly.

When I saw you sleeping so calm... free of worry, free of pain,

I would not wish you back with me to only suffer again.

When you took your last breath, you did not go alone.

My breaking heart went with you - that Wednesday morning

God called you home.

I'm grateful to our dear Jesus for all the time we had.

His angels above will wipe away my tears when I become so sad.

You've left me precious memories, your love will be my guide.

You live on through me, your devoted son James & our dear grandchildren.

J.D., you're always by our side.

Again we'll see each other when my life on earth is done.

Together again we'll be in our heavenly Father's home.

So rest in peace, my love and save a place for me.

Together with the Lord above, together we will be.

Forever in my heart, forever in my prayers,

Forever in my memories, everywhere I go-

J.D., you'll always be there.

My love for you is eternal, on earth as it's in Heaven above.

For with me I'll always carry your sweet precious love.

Until we meet again,

Forever your loving and devoted wife,

Sandy

How comforting to know you hear us when we cry outto you, Lord. Thank you for your promise to be with our family in our heartbreaking situation. We are trusting you to show yourself strong as our Deliverer and to extend your mercy to all of us. Thank you for your grace that has brought us this far and for the love that binds our family together. We offer you a sacrifice of praise in the midst of our tough times, knowing you will receive all the glory in the end. Amen

I love You Sandy, Your Cousin Kathy Perkins
