Tributes Add Your Tribute
By: Sam Lynch Jan 31, 2006
"They all do that Babe!" That was the standard response that Ed would give you when you told him of a common problem with your police car, indicating that he was aware of the problem, and many times would not have the money in the budget to fix it. Somehow, though, if your car was really in trouble, Ed would find a way to get it, and you, back on the road as safely, and rapidly as possible. Those of us who knew, and worked with Ed, always enjoyed his smile, and jokes around the shop, but when it came to business, he was very serious. Another "Ed" was , " You've been jumping too many ditches babe?", because police are rough on alignments, and tires, but again, the cars managed to get fixed.

Though we had pretty much lost touch after he retired, I would still run into him occasionally, and he still had that smile from ear to ear.

I am sure that there is a shop in heaven where no one jumps ditches, and they don't all do that to keep Ed busy, and that God must have needed a good 'Wrench turner" more than we did.

My sympathies and best wishes to Ed's Family.

I will dearly miss ED Bagley, but I know he is in a peaceful place now and I will someday see him again. Ed was like a second father to me. I am thankful for the opportunity to have grown up with him and his family. He taught me alot about morals, honesty, and integrity. He was a person that I always admired. I still remember learning and working with him in his garage. I remember him laughing and enjoying life. Thank you for being there for me. I wish I could be there but my thoughts and prayers will be with Mrs. Bagley, Randy, Ricky, Bugger, Lorna, Lynn and Luanda. He will be certainly be missed, but never forgotten.

Dear Mrs. Bagley & family,

Mr. Bagley will be greatly missed by many. He was such a wonderful man with a kind and

loving heart. My family, the Simmons', were blessed to have known him all these years.

I pray you will have the peace that God gives during this time of your great

loss.
