Tributes Add Your Tribute
By: your daughter Jan 25, 2007

Well, tomorrow is my birthday. It is the last time I had the opportunity to be with you, and see you alive. It was also the last time I will ever hear you tell me happy birthday. I miss you so much Daddy. All I ever wanted is for my childhood dreams to have come true. You were the one man in my life that believed in me, loved me, and really cared about my success in life. I wish I could tell you once more that I love you, that I was proud to call youmy dad, and I would give anything to feed you ice cream again. I get almost sick sometimes thinking about living my life without you in it. It is the hardest thing I have had to live with, and the second is not having my brother Todd in my life. I want you to know that not a day goes by that you don't cross my mind and my wish list remains the same.....just one more hug, just one more piece of advice, just one more "i love you julie". I miss you and love you more today than ever! Keep watch over all of us.....your loving daughter, Julie.

My condolences. Like so many of the Captains of his age, Andy personified the "right stuff". I flew with Andy many times and enjoyed his company. I believe God brought so many of us together during the flying years to mold our characters to be the next generation of Captains. I missed him after his retirement but will find his passing a reminder of a glorious future that we will all share togeher.
