Funeral services for Charles Wilson Jr., 73, of Conroe will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Sam Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson was born on June 19, 1933 in Liberty, Texas and passed away on October 9, 2006 in Huntsville, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Veterans Administration.
Charles attended The Gathering Place at the First United Methodist Church where he was a member. His son, Charles Kenneth Wilson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Wilson of Conroe; sons, Steven Wilson and wife Lajoana of Conroe and Craig Wilson and wife Dianna of Lumberton; brothers, Cleve Wilson and wife Dorothy of Orange and Otis Wilson and wife Mary of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jennifer, Amanda, Steven, Charles, Kaitlyn, and Dawn; great grandchildren, Avery, John, William, Brandon, and Brianna. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. The family will serve as pallbearers.
