Mrs. Holliday, born Pamela Denise Embry on November 9, 1954 in Houston, Texas, after fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer, went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2006 at home in Willis, Texas.
After raising four children, Pam went back to school to earn her RN and went on to work at Kingwood Medical Center. She worked there for thirteen years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. There she formed a family with her co-workers, who loved and supported her. She was a proud member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confirmed and married. She never lost faith while battling her sickness.
Pam's parents, Clarence and Evelyn Embry, and son, Clint Michael Holliday, all preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, Michael L. Holliday; sons, Justin L. Holliday and wife Brandi C. Holliday and Cody F. Holliday; daughter, Katie D. Holliday; brothers, Vernon Embry and wife Mary and their children, Stacy, Larry, and Aaron Embry and Carlton Embry and his children, Josh, Allizia, and Amanda Embry; two grandnieces, Zoey and Ariel; mother and father-in-law, Robert Lee and Ruth Marene Holliday; brother-in-law, Larry Holliday and wife Debbie; three sisters-in-law, Pat Goodman and husband Jerry, Roberta Hodges and husband Benny, and April McMahan and husband Mac; and fourteen nieces and nephews by marriage. Numerous other family and faithfully, true friends also survive her.
Pam was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend who led an amazing life to the fullest. Her tender heart touched many lives and she will forever live in our hearts.
