Funeral services for Arrie Beth Boast Burns, 69, of Willis will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. W. C. Burns, Dr. Bob Eklund, Dr David Malfouz, Dr. Jack Terry and Rev. Aaron Pardue officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 28, 2006 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burns was born on August 16, 1937 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, went to be with our Lord on December 26, 2006. She was a member of the North Shore Church.
Arrie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dr. W. C. (Buddy) Burns of Willis; daughters, Janet Burns Turner and husband Lester of Alexandria, Louisiana and Joy Burns Cates and husband Troy of Porter, Texas; sons, Terry Burns and wife Lee Ann of Riverdale, Michigan and Gary Burns and wife Karen of Conroe, Texas; sisters, Jamie Boast Gwin and husband Aaron of W. Memphis, Arkansas and Matha Nell Boast Sterling of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Jerrell Boast and wife Jessie of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Waymon Boast and wife Nancy of Sullivan, Missouri, and Wendell Boast and wife Alma of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; grandchildren, Darianne, Lynlee, Carley, Katie, Claire, Reagan, Chandler, Brandon, Luke, Ethan, Jacob, and Abigail. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Jim Cozby, Tim Steenwyk, David King, Mike Davis and Joe Clinton. Honorary pallbearers are all the men of North Shore Church.
