Gaylord "G.B." Beuron Lindsey
June 25, 1926 - January 4, 2007



Gaylord Beuron (G.B.) Lindsey, beloved and adored husband for 60 years to Stella Mae Lindsey, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the evening of January 4, 2007 at his favorite place, the family beach house.

Born June 25, 1926 in Anson, Texas, He was the loving and supportive father to Connie Jo Champion, Gary Drew Lindsey, Kim RenéBurnicle, Gaylord Scott Lindsey, and Lalaneya Ann Whitaker. He will fondly be remembered by his grandchildren Kelly Yvette Alexander, Jill Marie Heise, Carmen Melanie Champion, Jessica Ruth Foster, Bevan Drew Lindsey, Casey Dean Burnicle, Kara Lindsey Burnicle, Corbin Drew Whitaker, Sarah Ashley Whitaker and Luke Mendel Lindsey and his great-grandchildren Eric Austin Champion, Drake Champion-Ball, Courtni Jolynn Foster, Davis Shane Heise, December Marie Heise and Duke River Heise.

G.B. Lindsey moved to Houston, Texas in the late 60's from Lubbock, Texas and was an honorable, accomplished, and distinguished businessman as a Real Estate Land Developer. G.B. was a man of strong character, high integrity, and had a passionate love for his family which he demonstrated through generosity and prayer. G.B. enjoyed reading, sports, spending time at the beach, real estate projects and family get-togethers...especially the joy of watching his grandchildren play after enjoying "one of the best meals he ever had". He is also survived by his two brothers Sherrel Lindsey and Richard Lindsey, sons-in-law Joe Sparky Burnicle & Corby Christopher Whitaker, daughter-in-law Tracey Lynn Lindsey and grandson-in-law ShaneMichaelHeise.

A funeral service in memory of G.B. will be held onTuesday, January 9, 2007 at 12:00 am at the Houston National Cemetery Chapel located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas, with the Rev. Dr. Curtis Crenshaw Th. D. of Saint Francis of the Reformed Episcopal Church officiating. The attending pallbearers will be Gary Lindsey, Scott Lindsey, Sparky Burnicle, Chris Whitaker, Shane Heise, Bevan Lindsey and honorary pallbearer Casey Burnicle
