A memorial service for Melvin Hamm, Jr., 78, of Conroe will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with the American Legion Post #618 Chaplain officiating.
Mr. Hamm was born April 10, 1928 in Kinder, Louisiana and passed away on January 23, 2007 in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during WWII.
Melvin is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marlene Hamm of Conroe; daughter, Mary Angela Lougee and husband Peter of Montgomery; sons, William Edward Hamm of Conroe and David Paul Hamm of Montgomery; grandchildren, Danielle Nichole Whitache and Melissa Cherie Hamm. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Lacky, Larry Snider, Jerry Collins, Terry Collins, Rex Stodgill, Bob Payne, and Thomas Mileski.
