Anne Marl Traylor was born May 15, 1928 in Willis, TX and passed away in Cut-N-Shoot on February 3, 2007.
Mrs. Traylor was a resident of Montgomery County. She started her first job at Safeway for Wallace Lampton. She made the decision to leave and stay home to help Reuben with the dairy. Later she returned to Safeway and then moved on to Brookshire Brothers. She then went to work for the First National Bank of Conroe where she worked for over 30 years. She was a lifetime member of the Montgomery County Fair Association and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Groceville.
She married the love of her life the night she graduated from high school and was a devoted wife to John Browder Traylor for 60 years. She was a loving mother to her children and a loving friend to many. She enjoyed baking cookies and shared them eagerly with her large extended family. She loved baseball and anytime the boys were playing, they had a fan. Anne and Reuben enjoyed traveling and visiting their friends and family; she was the chauffeur and he was the navigator. They were the glue that held us together.
Mrs. Traylor is preceded in death by her husband John Browder Traylor, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-laws, Priscilla and Richard Morrison and Laurie and Randy Bailey; her son and daughter-in-laws, Stuart and Beth Traylor and Terry and Pam Traylor; grandchildren, Shawn Coleman, Phil and Laurie Jones, Todd and Amanda Traylor, Travis Traylor, Brittni and Eric Douglas, Amanda and Neil Manchester, Gina Traylor, John Bailey and Natalie Traylor; two great-granddaughters, Taylor Jones and Bailey Manchester; sisters Mattie Lou Hulon, Minnie Carl Phillips, Sue Lankford, brother J.A. Dean and sister-in-laws Cleo Dean and Mary Lou Fugett. She is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
