Jerry Pace, 67, of Amarillo, and formerly of Conroe and Highlands, TX, died Thursday, February 8, 2007.
Services will be on Tuesday, February 13, at 12:30 pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at Camp Ruby in Livingston, TX. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Minister Harry Gipson will preside at the services.
Jerry was born October 14, 1939 in Baytown, TX. He married Ginger Eddings on November 19, 1960. He had an outgoing personality and loved people. Jerry enjoyed the company of many friends. He loved spending time outdoors and one of his passions was fishing. He especially loved being with his family and his grandchildren. His many diverse business interests (restaurants, horses, sales, etc.) spiced up his life as well as the lives of others.
Jerry loved the Lord and was ready to see Jesus face to face.
Survivors include his wife, Ginger Pace; a son Jeff Pace and wife Ellen; a daughter Jennifer Auvermann and husband Brent; six grandchildren Katie, Annie and Virginia Pace and Samuel, Silas and Isaac Auvermann; brother and sister-in-law Ken and Charlene Pace; sister and brother-in-law Vertie and Billy Young; brother-in-law, Jim Eddings; and sister Maxine Hatcher.
Pallbearers are Jerry’s nephews: Ricky and Randy Young, Donald, Michael and Rusty Welch and Jonathan and Joel Pace.
