Funeral services for James Allen Tiller, 67, of New Waverly will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. Wes Morgan officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 20, 2007 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Tiller was born August 8, 1939 in Houston, Texas and passed away on April 18, 2007 in Houston, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force. He was an adult leader for numerous 4H projects and participated in many FFA activities as a parent leader. James was a lifetime member of the Montgomery County Fair Association.
James is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Darlene Tiller of New Waverly; daughters, Tonja Wilkerson and husband Robert of Willis and Frannie Sanders and husband Mark Sanders of Conroe; son, Allen Tiller of San Angelo; grandchildren, Caitlin Parsley, Clay, Cohl, and Cortlin Wilkerson, and Morgan Sanders; great grandchild, Keegan Parsley; sister, Virginia Burda of Houston; and brother, Billy Tiller of Conroe. Many other family members and friends also survive.
