Funeral services for Roy Enoch Kidd, Jr., 75, of Conroe will be held on September 11, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Community Church of God with Rev. Daelyn West, Rev. Tim Kidd, Rev. Harold Morton and Rev. George Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2007 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Kidd was born June 23, 1932 in Conroe, Texas and passed away on September 7, 2007 in Conroe, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Roy was a member of the Community Church of God and served as a senior usher and greeter. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda Kidd of Conroe; daughters, Tammy Terry and husband Bill of Conroe, Oveta Hewitt and husband Tommy of Porter and Kimberly Kidd of Dallas; sons, Timmy L. Kidd and wife Angela and Shannon Kidd, all of Conroe; twenty grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Pallbearers will be Richard Beard, Robert Beard, Paul Kidd, Sugar Bear Humphrey, Clint Humphrey, Tommy Hewitt, Daniel Voison and Bill Terry. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Humphrey and Clifford Beard.
