Lee Dampier (L.D.) Fultz, of Conroe, died on October 5, 2007 at Memorial Herman Hospital in The Woodlands.
Lee was born in Montgomery County on November 5, 1913 and lived and ranched here all his life except for the short time he spent at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas after being drafted during the last few months of WWII. He served as Montgomery County Commissioner form 1962 to 1974.
L.D. was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Ruby Whitfield Fultz, two infant sons, brothers Milton T. and Remus T. Fultz, sister Frieda Fultz Odom, nephew Ernest Bradley Fultz, nieces Leah Fultz Wells and Waltereen Futlz Hoskinson and husband Warren. He is survived by nieces Lucille Davis Fultz of Fulton, MO, Alice Fultz Pulin and husband Joe of Taft, TX, and Margaret Fultz Francis and husband Don of Conroe, by nephew Don Wells of Conroe and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday, October 8, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. W. C. Burns officiating. Interment to follow at Copeland Chapel Cemetery.
