Maudie Mae O’Daniel-Capps, 94, went to be with her Beloved Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2007.
Maudie was born in Lexington, Oklahoma to Bill and Ollie Bolding on August 15, 1913.
Maudie was preceded in death by her husbands Ernest O’Daniel and Harold Capps. Son, Edward O’Daniel and Judy Lazarus. She is survived by daughter Pat O’Daniel-Senor of Conroe, Daughter-in-law, Nancy O’Daniel of Conroe, David Capps and wife Pat and Kathleen Tully of Houston, Clayton and Beverly Goodrum and Son Jason and wife Vicki. Grandchildren: Steven O’Daniel of Colorado, Robyn Bennatt and husband Stacy of Conroe, Jennifer and David Severrinson of Austin, Pamela and Steve Allen and their children, Rachel and Ashley of Grapevine, Patricia Welton and daughter Claire of Grapevine, Stephanie Capps and Raul Pavon of Houston, Susan and Mike Adams and their children, Brittany and Melissa of Lantana. Great Grand Daughter, Ashley Shipp and husband Peyton of Conroe and Maudies’ 5th Generation Great -Great Grand Daughter, Audrey Shipp. Maudie also leaves behind her dearest and best friend Norma Patterson of Conroe who was always by her side when needed.
Special thanks to Maudies caretakers, Audrey Jepsen, Kathy Fisher, and Debbie Massey who made the last days of her life as comfortable as possible. Not only have you become our friends, you have now become part of our family. And lastly she will be greatly missed by her little dog Snooks.
Maudie lived a long and interesting life. From being a welder at the Port of Houston during WWII to becoming a beautician and owning her own beauty shop in Houston, Texas for over 30 years.
Visitation will be held October 16, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. Graveside services will be held October 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas with Bro. Charles Teel officiating.
Thank you mother for always being there for us when we needed you most. We love you so very much and know you are looking down on us giving us some of your everlasting strength.
