A Celebration of Life Service for William Angus "Bill" Biggers, Jr., 69, of Conroe, who went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2002 will be held March 13, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Bob T. Biggers, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be March 12, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. At Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Biggers was born to William Angus, Sr. and Lillian Thornton Biggers on July 30, 1932 in Hampton, AR. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas. On October 18, 1958 he married Geneva Bowman of Bearden, AR. Mr. Biggers retired from Louisiana-Pacific in 1996.
Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty Jo Thompson of Hampton, AR. Survivors include his wife of 43 years Geneva Biggers; son, Billy Biggers and his wife Kay Yancey Biggers and four beautiful grandchildren that were the light of his life, Austen, Braden, Katie and Camden Biggers, all of Conroe, TX; brother, Bob Thornton Biggers and wife Linda of Crossett, AR; sisters, Marty Green and husband Bill of Bonner Springs, KS and Mary Ruth Harrison of Alexander, AR; and many nieces and nephews who thought "Uncle Dub" was the best thing that could happen to childhood. He always had a special touch with children that made him a special part of their lives.
Pallbearers are Frank Denton, Ronnie Paul, Robert Foshee, Steve Kendrick, Mike Green, Gene Meyers, Bill Green and Don Cain.
