A Celebration of Life for Rickey Dale Maynard, 47, will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at 3:30 p.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery, with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2002 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Maynard was born December 26, 1954 in McAlester, Oklahoma and passed away April 27, 2002 in Houston, Texas. He was an Eagle Scout, an Active TOPPS Member and owned Maynard & Maynard Aircraft Carburetors. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. We cherish his memory now and forever.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Maynard; daughter, Haley Maynard of Willis; son, Andrew Maynard of Willis; parents, Wynema and Delano Maynard of Conroe; sisters, Vickey Lee of Willis, Lesa Smith and husband Dennie of ontgomery, Sherry Law and husband Richard of Sugar Land, TX; grandmother, Estelle Maynard of McAlester, OK; nieces and nephews, Shawn, Suni, Matthue, Caleb, Lauren, Zachary, Justin, Jordan, Megan, Hastings, Brooke, Jeffrey Lee, Luke and Deven; great niece, Emilee; and numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Pallbearers are Billy Stevenson, Bret Stevenson, Rusty Sassaman, Gary Redman, Conrad Stevenson, Jamie Franks, Jeff Franks, Gerald Maynard, Jimmy Perkins, David Blackwood, Matthue Smith, John Tarr, Michael Shropshire, James Shropshire, and Wayne Stroman.
A trust has been set up at Woodforest National Bank.
