Funeral services for Margaret W. Rutledge, 61, of Richmond, TX will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Dearing Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Willis Cemetery, Willis, TX with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday, June 9, 2002 from 12:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, June 10, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. both days.
Mrs. Rutledge was born September 21, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland and passed away June 7, 2002 in Willis, Texas. She was a dedicated employee of Waukesha Pearce Industries for 26 years. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising her children, then her grandchildren. Her hobbies included needlepoint, collecting miniatures, bells and condensed books. She was a proud Texan and loved the city of Houston.
She is survived by her sons, John H. Davis and Jobey K. and wife Tracey E. Davis; grandchildren, Krystal N. Davis, Brandon M. Davis, Brittni N. Davis, Kobey R. Davis, Zacharey J. Davis; sister, Betty Carroll; and numerous nephews, nieces and untold special friends...pallbearers, Richard Guillot, Eddie Welch, Wayne Lavergne, Bryan Deitart, David S. Smith and James R. Petty. Honorary pallbearers, Elvin R. Brasher, Tex West, and Tommy Jones.
