Funeral services for Willie Mae Sunday, 84 of Willis, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Weeks officiating. Interment will follow at East Sandy Cemetery in New Waverly, Texas with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Monday, October 14, 2002 from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Cashner Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sunday was born February 2, 2002 in Mount Pleasant, Texas and passed away Saturday, October 12, 2002 in Willis, Texas. Mrs. Sunday was a member of the Cleveland Rebecca Lodge.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Hastings and husband John of Shepherd, TX, Bertha Mae Burson and husband Harold Lee, Sr. of Conroe, and step-daughter, Delois Odom and husband Robert of Lufkin, Texas; son, George Allison Stowe and wife Pat of Selmer, Tennessee and step-son, Gene Autry Sunday of Franklin, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren, Wendy Snipes, Michael Brown, Harold Burson, Jr., Connie Davis, Charles Walters, Robin Miller and Alan Bradley; twenty-five great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving extended family. She was preceded in death by a grand-daughter, Dian Brown Cox.

Pallbearers are Michael Brown, Charles Walters, Harold Burson, Jr., Brian Lucas, Gene Snipes and Michael Davis, with Alan Bradley as an honorary pallbearer.

The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciating to the staff of The Willis Convalescent Center.
