Jeanne Lorelle Richardson Brasher, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend went home to her Lord on Tuesday, October 22, 2002. She was born in Macon, Georgia to Eleanor Cabriels Richardson and Alfred R. Richardson on October 17, 1923. She recently celebrated her seventy-ninth birthday with her family.
Jeanne was a graduate of Russell High School in East Point, Georgia where she was involved in the Drama Club, journalism, and dance. After high school, she met her husband Virgil "Pete" Brasher, while he was attending the Naval Aviator's Pre-Flight School in Athens, Georgia. They were married shortly thereafter and spent sixty years together. Jeanne also owned her own dance studio while living in East Point, Georgia and had the opportunity to study dance in New York and intensify her love of the arts.
During Pete's Naval career they traveled throughout the Unite States and upon his retirement
