Funeral services for Lillian Grace Morris Nolley, 85, of Conroe, TX will be held November 6, 2002 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2002 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nolley was born April 9, 1917 in Bosque County, TX. She married John Paul Nolley, her husband of over 50 years, in 1935 in Grapeland, TX. They lived in many towns in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi through the course of Mr. Nolley's 43-year career at Exxon before retiring in Panorama Village, Texas in 1979. Mrs. Nolley enjoyed gardening, water aerobics, bridge and keeping in touch with her grandchildren via e-mail. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Willis, TX.
John, her husband and Patricia Ann Nolley, her daughter preceded her in death. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Paula & George Fowler of Houston, TX. Son: John Paul Nolley, Jr. of La Porte, TX. Brother & sister-in-law: Weldon and Jerry Morris of Houston. Brother-in-law: Frank Edens of Ruston, Louisiana. Sisters-in-law: Florence Morris of Grapeland, TX and Ursula Morris of Brownsville, TN. Grandchildren: Cristy Harrison, Sarah McKinley and husband Trent, Jessica Nolley, Sasha Richardson and Husband Matt and LCPL John Spencer Nolley, USMC serving on the USS Austin. Great Grandson: Matthew McKinley. Her special pet bird, Tweetie and numerous relatives and friends, also survive her.
