A memorial service for Melvin B. Killian, 75 of The Woodlands, will be held on Monday, December 2, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. In Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Lloyd Maddoux officiating.
Mr. Killian was born on April 14, 1927 in Delhi, Oklahoma and passed away on November 26, 2002 in Houston, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Marines. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Company as a marketing manager. Mr. Killian was a member of First Assembly of God Church and was on the Board of Directors for The Woodlands. He was actively involved in the Rogers Clemens Celebrity Golf Tournament and Doug Drabek Celebrity Golf Tournament, was ADRC for The Woodlands and was the local representative for Grogans Point. He was an avid golfer and hunter and served part-time as a marshal for Carlton Woods Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ginger Killian of The Woodlands; daughter, Terry Killian of Houston; son, Brad Killian and wife Deborah of Eugene, Oregon; sisters, Ethel Sinor of Sayre, Oklahoma, and Pearl Baldrichi of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; brothers, Jim Killian of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cletis Killian and wife Mary Ann of Sayre, Oklahoma, J.I. Killian and wife Gerry of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and Ray Killian and wife Shirley of Sayre, Oklahoma. A host of other loving extended family members also survive.
