Edwin ''Pat'' H. Patterson
February 23, 1921 - February 13, 2003



Graveside services for Edwin H. "Pat" Patterson, 81 of Conroe, will be held on Monday, February 17, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in Garden park Cemetery with Rev. Bill Posey officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 16, 2003 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home.

Mr. Patterson was born on February 12, 1921 in Tombstone, Arizona and passed away on February 13, 2003 in Conroe, Texas. He was a graduate of the University of North Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Patterson was a band director with Conroe Independent School District for 38 years. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church.

His parents, Warren and Ruth Patterson, and his grandson William Neal Watson preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Melba Patterson of Conroe; daughters, Charlotte Field and husband Ritchie of Conroe, Linda Watson and husband Bill of Conroe, and Debra K. Patterson of Houston; sister, Emma Willis-Nichols and husband Alvis of Dallas; brothers, Harold W. Patterson and wife Glee of Granbury; grandchildren, Trey Field and wife Deborah Perry of Dallas, Ashley Kahn and husband Justin of Sugar Land, and Rachel Watson of Conroe.

Honorary pallbearers include Ralph Rowe, Harold Cryar, Walt Blanchard, and Johnny Walker.

He will be missed by his friends and family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made tot he Parkinson's Foundation, 7457 Harwin, Suite 308, Houston, TX 77036-2025, or to the charity of your choice.
