A memorial service for Bob and Audrey Freele of Montgomery will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in Walden Community Church with Pastor Roy Joe Ham officiating.
Mr. Freele was born on November 4, 1921 in Forest, Ontario (Canada) and passed away on March 17, 2003 in Conroe, Texas. He was a chemical engineer for Conoco Oil Company and was the supervisor of a refinery for Quaker State. He was previously active in Walden's Golf Association, Montgomery Philosophical Society, the Association of Petroleum Engineers, and the Rotary Club of Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was proud to be the youngest man ever elected to be an elder in the Presbyterian Church in Ponca City.
Mrs. Freele was born on August 6, 1926 in London, England to Alfred and Constance Benson and passed away on March 17, 2003 in Montgomery, Texas. She was active in many community and civic organizations and president of the Women's Association of Ponca City. She was very proud to be an elder in the Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania. She and her husband were both members of Walden Community Church.
They are survived by their sons, Robert Freele, D.D.S. And wife Susan of Houston, David Freele of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Kevin Freele and wife Michelle of Springwood, Australia; grandchildren, Rob Freele of Iowa City, Iowa, Ryan and Rusty Freele of Houston, and Ty, Blake, and Lauren Freele of Australia. Mrs. Freele is also survived by her sister, Pat McLean of Sarnia, Ontario (Canada); and Mr. Freele by his cousin, Betty Cross of Canada.
