Funeral services for Emerson Earl Romoser, Sr., 81 of Spring will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at 3:00 p.m., in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, March 31, 2003 from 3 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 1, 2003 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.
Mr. Romoser was born on January 29, 1922 in Jasper, Alabama and passed away on March 29, 2003 in Spring, Texas. He retired from the Houston Police Department after 28 years of service. He was a Mason and served in the U.S. Army, during WWII. Mr. Romoser was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Romoser, brothers; Raymond Romoser and Wallace Romoser and sister Eva Mae Greer. He is survived by his daughter, Francine Roden and husband William of Spring; sons; Tony Walters, Michael Walters, Sr. and Emerson Earl Romoser, Jr., sisters; Mary Frances Matranga of Baytown, Pauline Buckman of Baytown and Betty Ann Mayhew of Dayton, TX, brothers; Wayne Romoser and wife Jackie of Houston, Bill Romoser and wife Rena of Pearland, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A host of other loving extended family and friends also survive.
